Breakfast In a Cup

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup or 250ml low fat milk
1/3 cup or 60g diet fruit yougurt
125g strawberries hulled
1 tbs wheat germ
4 ice cubes.

Fruit and Yougurt Porridge
1 cup or 250ml low fat milk
1/4 cup or 30g rolled oats
1 1/2 tbs chopped dried apples
1 1/2 tbs sultanas
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tbs low fat natural yougurt

METHOD:
1)To make porridge, place milk, rolled oats, apples, sultanas and cinnamon in a saucepan and mix to combine. Cook over a medium heat, stirring for 5-7 minutes or until oats are soft. Spoon porridge into serving bowl and serve topped with a spoonful of yougurt.
2)Place milk, yougurt, strawberries, wheat germ and ice cubes in a food processor or blender and process until thick and frothy. Pour into tall glass and serve immediately.
This recipe serves only 1, so if u are 2 or 3 person jz double d ingredients.

Breakfast Casserole
Serves 6
6 slices white bread
1lb. sasauge browned & drained
1t dry mustard
6 eggs
2c. Milk
2c swiss_cheese[shreded]
1/4t salt_&_pepper
1t. Worchestershire sauce
Grease 9x13 baking pan. Place sliced bread in bottom. Mix sausage & dry mustard. Sprinkle over bread evenly, sausage & cheese. Beat together eggs, milk, worchestershire, salt & pepper til smooth. Pour over casserole. Cover and refridgerate over night. Bake 350f 35 to 45min. Let stand 10 min. *

Pineapple Orange Honey SmoothieServes 4
1c. Milk
1c. Yogurt plain
1 1/2c. Pineapple chunks
1/3c Honey
1/4c orange juice
1t. Orange zest
10 ice cubes
In blender, combine all ingredients except ice cubes. Blend until smooth, add ice cubes, one at a time blending to crush ice and til smooth. Pour into glasses and enjoy. *

Orange Creamsicle Smoothie
2 servings

1c. Skim milk
1 6oz. Vanilla yogurt
1/3c. Frozen orange juice concentrate
1/4t vanilla extract
5 ice cubes
In blender combine all except ice. Blend til smooth add ice cubes one at a time blending til smooth. Serve immediately yumyum.GIF *

The creamsicle smoothie tastes like creamsicle bars. Vanilla ice cream covered with orange sherbet. They tasted wonderful on a hot summer day. If you remember that Yummy flavor from childhood your going to love this smoothie! If you have never tasted a dreamcicle, you don't know what a treat you have been missing. Banana Fudge Smoothie

Creamy and delicious, this smoothie is great for breakfast or a midday pick-me-up.
Ingredients
11/2 cups fat-free or low-fat milk
1/2 cup soft silken low-fat tofu
2 ripe medium bananas, frozen and cut into 1-inch chunks
2 tablespoons unsweetened natural cocoa powder
1 teaspoon agave nectar or dark honeyInstructions
1. Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve immediately. Serves 3.

Plum Pudding Smoothies
This holiday morning wake-up may make it into your breakfast routine throughout the winter. Serve in small glasses. To double the recipe, make two separate batches.
Ingredients

4 canned purple plums, pitted
4 large strawberries, hulled
1/2 ripe peeled banana
1/2 cup low-fat plain yogurt
2 teaspoons honey
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
6 to 8 ice cubes
Instructions
1. Place ingredients in a large blender; cover and blend until smooth, scr*ping down sides once or twice.
Serves 4.

Banana and Nutella Smoothie with Chopped Almonds


This smoothie is rich from Nutella -- a spread made from chocolate and hazelnuts -- and healthy from bananas, soy and yogurt.
Ingredients
1 cup Nutella spread (found in the peanut b*tter aisle)
1/4 cup creamy peanut b*tter
2 cups vanilla yogurt
1 1/4 to 1 1/2 cups soy milk
4 medium frozen bananas
Chopped almonds (optional)Instructions
1. Combine Nutella, peanut b*tter, yogurt, soy milk and banana in a blender. Process until smooth. For a thinner texture, add 1/4 cup more soy milk and 3 or 4 ice cubes and process until ice is crushed. Pour into glasses. Garnish with chopped almonds, if desired.
Serves 6.

In smoothie recipes calling for tofu and soy milk you can easily substitute yogurt and skim or regular milk if you prefer okey.GIF *
