Fry Bread
3c selfrising flour
1c powdered milk
1c water
3T sugar [optional]
oil for frying [Canola, or Corn oil] preheat oil to 375d in dutch oven or deep fryer. Never fill dutch oven above 2/3 full.
Be very careful when working with hot oil
While oil is heating. Mix ingredients together to form stiff dough [consistency of biscuit dough] add little more water if needed. Flour your board work dough gently to remove stickiness. Pinch off ba11s about the size of large egg. *

Pat or roll round shape about 4 inches in diameter. Gently slide into hot oil. Puffs some when it frys. Fry til golden brown. Drain on absorbant paper. Serve with honey. Use for base in indian tacos or use as side bread with your meal. My family loves this bread.
